I think it all stems back to the dark days of WoW achievements! My PS4 is on pre-order but there are few launch titles that I'm interested in so I will definitely use this time to complete some of my many outstanding PS3 titles. Yes, I am the same on the PS3 not as much on the PC. That's quite a nice haul you have there and a great completion %.

Anyone else do this at all? And if so, what game was the hardest for you? Once I finish a game the first time, I usually go through the game again aiming to get all the trophies/achievements. I like the extra challenges it presents you and I often find myself looking back at some and remembering how much effort it was to get some. Hey guys, does anyone enjoy the challenge of getting all the achievements in games? I find myself trying to get 100% achievements/trophies more and more on games I play recently. but I promise you one derailed thread it won't be good. Well, the thing is, I thought your son was a lady. I married her because I fell in love with her on first sight, not because she can keep up with me in my games, but the open tracts of land are a bonus.I think. What do you mean you don't want to marry her? She has huge tracts of open land. I fell in love with her for other reasons though and she lets me play what I want so I can't complain.įor other reasons -), it might be because she has huge.

She likes certain games but she just is not a hardcore gamer. This is why having a wife that is a pretty hardcore gamer herself is awesome. Just wait until you're married, she'll start getting achievements, and you'll start losing lives.

That is what I did before achievements and I hate to try and play games according to a list to try and get everything and not just play how I want. Now that I have had a gf and now fiancée for over two years I have put achievement hunting on the back burner and just play games to enjoy them. I used to when I was in high school and had no love interests. I hate "Use this weapon only" achievements, I always will try for the "use this AK-47", and in the middle of going on a lead spray rampage you step on a mini-gun or rocket launcher which results in you equipping it asap because its "better", but due to your finger being pressed down on the "MOW F***ERS DOWN" button, you pop off a few rounds of another weapon, thus ruining your achievement. My favorite scenario comparable to this was Metal Gear Solid for PS1 when you had to get from one hall to the next in under 60 seconds only smoking a cigarette because of the invisible red lasers. And no-matter how many times you complete the damn mission under those circumstances you finish at 7 minutes 22 seconds, OR fall on a pistol and fire 1 round off at 7 minutes 15 seconds, 3 steps from the exit. Nope, I hate throwing controllers, flipping keyboards, and ripping cords because that one stupid achievement that says "complete this mission in 7 minutes and 21 seconds or less, or insanity difficulty, and only using a pencil sharpener as a weapon, nude".
